Friends Council on Education
The Friends Council on Education provides services and advocacy for Quaker schools and their communities. A section for students and parents provides information on Quaker schooling, access to literature, and a directory of Quaker schools. www.friendscouncil.org
American Friends Service Committee
The American Friends Service Committee carries out service, development, social justice, and peace programs throughout the world. This organization won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1947 for its work after World War II and continues to serve communities around the world with a focus on sustainability and peace. www.afsc.org
