On the first day of February, the moment they had been waiting for all year long finally happen - the first real sledding snow of the season! Students, faculty, and staff alike lined up for their turn to go down the famous BFS sledding hill. A BFS tradition going back decades (perhaps centuries), no BFS education is complete without a chance to zip down the big hill. Starting in Lower School, students sled during recess in the winter months but must wait until Middle and Upper School to finally be able to try out the large hill that travels from the Main building down to Jane Jackson House. When the big day comes, classmates give tips and cheer their friends on as they take this much loved BFS rite of passage.
