The 3rd Graders enjoyed a delicious day of educational fun at the Annual Sap Boiling recently. Students spent the afternoon enjoying the warm weather boiling the sap they collected from the maple trees in the Meetinghouse graveyard into a thick, rich syrup. While the sap was boiling down, Mr. Haupert's students crafted animal traps and snares based on their reading of My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George. It was a wonderful day for students, faculty, and parents alike!
