“We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
In honor of MLK Day, the 4th and 5th Graders recently met to learn about and watch Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" speech. Afterward, the students were asked to reflect upon the speech and discuss which parts of the speech were most inspiring to them. The 4th and 5th Graders then worked together in groups to make posters about MLK and the character attributes that allowed him to be such an agent of change, as well as their own hopes and dreams for our country and world. Great job 4th and 5th Graders!
