Before Spring Break, the 6th Graders went to Washington, DC for four days for their Signature Class Trip! The students visited sights and memorials all over DC such as the National Archives, the Museum of African American History and Culture, the Air and Space Museum, the Jefferson Memorial, the MLK Memorial, and more! Each student prepared a mini-report on a location and presented it to their classmates in the actual space! The students also attended a Lobbying 101 workshop at the Friends Place on Capital Hill! The students learned so much both about our nation's Capital and themselves!
