This week in Kindergarten, students have explored different versions of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They have practiced retelling the story, discussing the characters, and sequencing the events.
The Literacy Workstations were all focused on bears. At one station, the students sewed felt bears. They have also been singing the classic song "Teddy Bear Picnic."
To end the week, each student was invited to bring a teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) to school for a Teddy Bear Picnic. Students made sandwiches to share with their bears for the picnic and enjoyed the picnic outside on the upper field on blankets.
Students and bears all enjoyed the picnic!
