Teachers and students learned more about the history of the Joint Environmental Mission (JEM) program which was formed in 1991.

Working with local company, Indigenous Ingenuities, LLC, the new playground is designed to be environmentally responsible, using all natural materials, and incorporating the canopy of the Lower School’s beautiful, large trees into the design. The school plans to begin construction this summer so that the playground is ready for the start of the school year in September.

Mr. Haupert's 3rd Grade Class had their annual outdoor education day last week where the class boiled down the maple sap they collected throughout the month of February.

As we begin the new calendar year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the special moments we've shared together as a community this school year. What's YOUR favorite BFS memory so far this year?

In honor of MLK Day, the 4th and 5th Graders recently met to learn about and watch Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" speech.

PTAC will host the St. Thomas Gospel Choir for a family-friendly evening of uplifting music and song in our beloved Meetinghouse on Friday, February 3rd at 7pm. All BFS community members are invited to attend!

The month of January has been focused on service. As part of our school Mission, BFS "instills the value of caring for others and our world," there have been numerous service opportunities this month across the grades.
